Fort Cavazos (Fort Hood)
Base Background
Founded in 1942 in Killeen, Texas as Fort Hood, this is one of the largest U.S. military installations. Recently renamed Fort Cavazos, the base is currently conducting PA/SI activities to assess the presence and impact of PFAS contamination on the installation.
