Base Background
McCrady Training Center is a South Carolina Army National Guard Installation located approximately 20 miles east of downtown Columbia, SC. The facility includes a variety of training ranges in a wooded environment. It has confirmed elevated PFAS levels at multiple locations on site, including fire stations and fuel storage areas. It is currently undergoing a full environmental investigation to ascertain the extent of the PFAS contamination.
