Personal Note:
Carol was born in Washington, D.C. She taught school before deciding to become a lawyer. After working for one of the major law firms in Orlando, she took a job working for a local federal judge in Orlando. In that job, she learned how the Social Security System worked by handling the appeals of disabled workers. After leaving the federal judge, she opened her own law practice. In that practice she learned of veterans being denied their VA benefits and in the early 1990s began representing them in their claims against the government. She has been working for veterans and for disabled workers ever since.
Carol is our senior partner in the area of Veterans Law and Social Security Disability. She is directly involved in representing veterans in the Regional Office, the BVA and beyond. In the Social Security section she works to make sure that all of our cases are properly prepared, by reviewing the cases which are coming up for hearing and offering advice to our lawyers and case managers based on her thirty years of experience. While she no longer handles individual hearings, she continues to be the main social security resource for our firm.
Carol has five children and ten grandchildren. She lives with her husband, Brian Hill, in Orlando, Florida.

Disabled Vet
Ms. Ponton worked diligently, thoroughly and her knowledge on VA law is outstanding. I had unsuccessfully fought the V.A. for over 40 years with disappointment after disappointment. I found Ms Ponton and she took my case. She was able to present my case to the V.A. in ways I had not been successful. I honestly think Ms. Ponton loves Vets and takes each case to heart. She is an outstanding attorney and a “Woman of Integrity” If your fortunate enough to have her in your corner, no one can represent you better or with more devotion to her client! Thank you Ms. Ponton!

Veterans Administration (VA) Benefits
She has faithfully executed her duties on my behalf and has provided me with representation exceeding my expectations. By using superior communication skills and timely responsive replies to my questions, I’m always aware and have a feeling of control for my claims. I know she’s always truthful in her dealings and I’m receiving competent assistance with my benefit claims. I strongly recommend her to represent any/all veterans wanting or requiring assistance with the bureaucracy to expedite the VA claims process. Having problems with a legitimate VA claim call her, she can help.
